Whether your pet is staying just a single night or for a couple of weeks, bringing some familiar items from home will ensure that your pet feels calm and cozy. Here’s a list of some favorite and suggested items to include with your pet’s stay:
- Food
- Updated vaccination form. This should include proof of a current Bordetella vaccination, as well as DHLPP and rabies. For more on necessary vaccinations, see our New Client page.
- A special blanket that smells like home.
- A favorite toy or two
- Necessary medication
- Special treats with instructions
You may consider bringing your pet’s own bed. We suggest bringing a favorite blanket instead. Why? We work hard to keep your pet’s area clean and have created special beds that can be washed and sanitized in case of accidents. By using our easy-clean beds, we can keep your pet dry and comfortable no matter what happens. With this in mind, we encourage you to bring a blanket and leave the bed at home.
